The
French National Association for the Protection of Rivers
and Water Resources, empowered by the French state to defend the interests of
the general public, has been fighting for more than 40 years to preserve French
rivers and fresh-water resources. During that forty-year period, ANPER-TOS has taken on more than 1,000 cases.
The association is recognized and respected for its vigorous action before the courts, and has developed special legal expertise in water-related administrative and judicial proceedings in France.
As a result of its success in the courts, coupled with growing environmental awareness in France, the association is called upon to deal with an ever-growing number of requests for help and legal advice from the private and public sectors. In order to deal with these requests, ANPER needs your support, in the form of donations, or bequests.
